Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions Product Review

Today, I am going to express my initial thoughts on and provide a review of Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions.

I received this product through BzzAgent.com, a word of mouth marketing site that provides consumers with targeted products in exchange for input on the products. I provide word of mouth for products as a member. The opinions expressed are always my own.

In my BzzAgent BzzKit for Burt's Bees Acne Solutions I received a full size bottle of Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solutions Purifying Gel Cleanser and the Acne Solutions Targeted Spot Treatment. I have been sampling the products for a couple of days now, and so far I am so very impressed.

I suffer from the upper end of moderate to the lower end of heavy acne. It goes and comes, sometimes for months at a time. The past several months I have been engaged in a near constant battle. I had previously found a spot treatment that was okay. It was very drying but worked well at treating existing pimples, but it went off the market and I was left with nothing that worked for my acne.

I considered the opportunity to participate in the BzzCampaign for Burt's Bees Acne Solutions to be very timely indeed.

Both products have a lovely golden color to them and have pleasant scents while not seeming perfumed in the least. I have been applying the Purifying Gel in the morning and at night with a cotton ball and following up with spot treatment on existing bumps.

After having applied the spot treatment one morning, in the afternoon I applied make-up, and I noticed that my concealer seemed to actually conceal my pimples better. While I am not an expert on skincare, I am presuming that the combination of the gel cleanser and the spot treatment not only helps reduce the bump but also helps condition the surrounding skin. If so, then my concealer was applied to a more uniform surface which made the concealer blend more naturally.

As of today I have used the spot treatment four times (two morning, two evening), and a nasty cluster of pimples on one of my cheeks is no longer inflamed or swollen. All that is left is the redness which usually takes an extra week or two to disappear on my skin.

Only time will tell what consistent use of the products will do for my complexion but so far I am very impressed. Impressed enough to consider the other products in the line, namely the Pore Refining Scrub and Daily Moisturizing Lotion.
